e-Mitra is not only working towards its objective of bringing ease in the life of the citizens of Rajasthan, it also working as easy cash withdrawal points. The Government of Rajasthan wants to ensure, with the inspiration of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje , the real-time and transparent deliverance of all the benefits to the authentic beneficiaries.
The Government of Rajasthan is working vigorously for effective implementation of every scheme they have launched. They are creating one single point where many schemes meet and reflect their benefits with each other’s help.
e-Mitra is one of such point where many government and non-government services are catered under one umbrella.
There are 290+ services are processed by the e-Mitra scheme. Out of which many schemes are direct cash benefits which need to reach in the right hands effectively. Here you can trust e-Mitra with your money. They are your mini banks which are providing various banking services to the citizens.
Many benefits like social security pensions, unemployment allowance, and scholarships, the government has appointed e-Mitra for the disbursement of these government entitlements to the citizens of Rajasthan.
The state government has set up Pay Points for the effective disbursements at e-Mitra kiosks. e-Mitra Pay Points use Point of Service (PoS) devices as a micro ATM to disperse the cash benefits to the citizens at their doorstep. The money withdrawal turns easy with these e-Mitra Pay Points.
In the rural areas, the government has set up 2500 pay points so far.
So far 23,000 Micro ATMs have been established in Rajasthan which is highest in the country.
e-Mitra Pay Points serves as cash providing points as well as an employment opportunity to the youth of their own village.
The state government has set up 2000 Pay-Point in 2015-16, which are projected 15,000 in 2016-17 and 25,000 in 2017-18 in urban and rural parts.
The total amount of disbursement of benefits in crores/month was 25 in 2015-16 and projected as 250 in 2016-17 and 500 in 2017-18.
If we talk about the total number of beneficiaries served by these Pay-Points in thousands/month were 125 in 2015-16 and projected as 1250 in 2016-17 and 12500 in 2017-18.
